GSG performs windshield repairs (also called chip repairs) at all locations. Customers can make an appointment to stop by any location and a Certified Auto Glass Technician will examine the damage and determine if it is a candidate for a windshield repair and if so, what to expect from the repair process and result. The Chip Repair process typically takes 20-30 minutes.

Yes, GSG Auto Glass Technicians have earned Recalibration Technician Certifications and our company has invested in the latest recalibration equipment for all GSG locations. A properly calibrated camera after a windshield installation is a critical safety measure. Mobile service is free within our designated service area and up to a distance of 25 miles from the location selected for service, after which a small upcharge is incurred. Given the technology vehicle manufacturers are placing in the windshield along with recalibration being necessary in a growing number of vehicles, we often ask for the vehicle to undergo the replacement process in-shop at their local Granite State Glass. Weather can also play a role in the location of the installation.

Although installation times can vary dependent on the vehicle, most installations take between three to four hours.
